One of my favorite holiday moments. Ever.



Somewhere in storage, I have a 12" single (kids, ask your parents) of this, pressed from a cutting made off the original video master. The sound quality is terrible -- who cared for TV? -- but the moment is sheer shmaltzy magic.

A quick Google search says 1977. It was from some Christmas special -- likely Crosby's annual Christmas special. He died not long after this was recorded.

I love Bowie's crack about "White Christmas".
