Hubby and I are going to Paris in May for a week. Which arrondissement would you get an apartment in? Andrew said you may have a highly educated opinion on the matter...actually, he never said that...
@bfitg: I have very strong opinions about nearly everything. Paris included. The best place for beauty + history + funky is the Marais, which straddles the 3rd and 4th arrondissements on the right bank. There are places on the left bank that are amazing, but they can be much more expensive, and are often more touristy. But, hell, Paris is so small and get-around-able, it almost doesn't matter, so long as you're not in a shithole! Drop me an e-mail if you want more recommendations!
