Happy Birthday Magna Carta

The Magna Carta was signed on this day in 1215, introducing, among other things, habeas corpus, which is nearer and dearer to my heart than it is to some. I may have mentioned that before. Long may we celebrate not only the birthday of the Magna Carta, but its continuing relevance to how we hold the rights of all people and enshrine them in law.
