Royal Grandson Grins

I've been pretty bummed, in recent weeks, about the state of the planet, the state of democracy, and the state of the United States.

So, simple, heartwarming moments have been particularly welcome.

...like this photo, of a grandmother and her grandson simply grinning at each other in a circumstance that one might have expected would normally demand more decorum.

Dr. Spencer – I love your posts in general, but I can’t agree w/ your assessment here – while this photo is cute on its ‘face’,

1. The concept of royalty is disgusting (I am therefore dismayed at the popularity of The King’s Speech, which is a falsely touching story about a deeply disgusting person). A picture of an elderly parasite smiling at her equally parasitic grandson, despite being cute, is, well . . .

2. This is a military review. Any moral nation/state/polity is required, by the imperative of morality, to look upon any military strength as a necessary evil, rather than something to honor.

I have a fully functioning VPN now, which allows me to see your website and other web content otherwise blocked by the Great Firewall – rock on!
